Wine Week 53: Cool wines for hot days
In Australia Christmas and New Year have been hot, hot, hot! So with this in mind we’ve chosen three wines that are perfect for helping you cool down and chill out. First we look at a crisp, fresh riesling from WA. Then it’s off to Spain for a super dry sherry that’s brilliant chilled. And finally we look at a red that is a great option for those warm summer days.
In this episode we recommend:
- Howard Park riesling 2007 ($20-25)
- Delgado Zuletta “La Goya” Manzanilla NV ($14-16)
- Bay of Fires Tigress pinot noir 2006 ($20-25)
