Wine Week 168: Two times three equals yum.

April 16th, 2010

We’re looking at three wines that we’ve already looked at on the show in the past. It’s the second time round for all these wines, but that only proves what great drops they are!

Tar & Roses have been impressing people for a while now, and we can see why with their Heathcote Shiraz. Tahbilk own some of the oldest Shiraz and Marsanne vines on earth, and we help them celebrate their 150th birthday with a look at their best known white. Ben Glaetzer has had more than one wine on our show. His Wallace is a classic Barossa blend that is worth revisiting again and again!

This week’s recommendations are:

  • Tar & Roses Heathcote Shiraz 2008 ($14-$16)
  • Tahbilk Marsanne 2009 ($12-$15)
  • Ben Glaetzer Wallace 2008 ($20-$24)

Cheers… and happy wine buying!

You need to taste wines on the show. Getting a little boring. Sorry to be so blunt.
