Wine Week 86: Make sure you pack these for the camping trip.
It’s almost Labor Day in the US, a time when a lot of people head off camping. So this week we look at a fortified shiraz that is the perfect drop for late in the night around the campfire. We also check out a cabernet which can be had for an absolute bargain price considering how good it is. To round things out we look at a chardonnay regarded as one of the best in the country.
In this episode we recommend:
- Kalleske J.M.K. shiraz VP 2006 ($23-25)
- Mike Press cabernet sauvignon 2006 ($10-14)
- Toolangi Estate chardonnay 2006 ($45-50)
