Wine Week 84: Drink between now and 100 years.
Finding wine that can cellared and opened for a child’s 18th or 21st can be hard, but this week we look at a wine that should still be drinking well on the 50th or even 100th birthday! As well we look at a cabernet which is only available online, plus an inexpensive viognier so you can try this very hot grape variety without spending a packet.
In this episode we recommend:
- Scorpiiion cabernet sauvignon 2006 ($29)
- Yalumba Y Series viognier 2007 ($10-12)
- Mount Prior durif 2004 ($22-25)
