Wine Week 82: Celebrating Le Tour
With Aussie Cadel Evans a big chance to take out the Tour de France this weekend we thought what better way to celebrate than with a bottle of Côtes du Rhône. This one won’t break the bank and will be easy to get your hands on in time for the final stage on the Champs Élysées. We also look at an Eden Valley riesling and another 2006 cabernet sauvignon from Coonawarra.
In this episode we recommend:
- Balnaves cabernet sauvignon 2006 ($30-35)
- Mountadam riesling 2007 ($18-25)
- E. Guigal Côtes du Rhône 2004 ($18-20)

Thanks Gary… I’ve only heard it pronounced the way I do in the video, but that might be simply repeating bad information! Cheers
