Wine Week 48: What will the cool people be drinking next year?
Ever wanted to get in on a one of those cool, limited release wines that everyone raves about before they become too expensive? This week we look at a big, bold shiraz from a small producer that seems set for huge wraps from those wine buffs that drive prices up to sky high territory. As well we look at an affordable shiraz that is as dependable as ever. And just for a change we look at a great young riesling which comes from Western Australia.
In this episode we recommend:
- Saltram Pepperjack shiraz 2006 ($18-27)
- West Cape Howe riesling 2006 ($18-23)
- Occam’s Razor shiraz 2005 ($40-45)
