Wine Week 19: The best Aussie riesling is only how much?!
This week we check out a contender for the title of Australia’s best riesling, and it’s one that won’t break the bank. We also check out a big Coonawarra red blend that is back in great form after a few disappointing vintages. And just to prove that age isn’t everything we check a out very young grenache/shiraz which is extremely drinkable right now.
In this episode we recommend:
- Kalleske Clarry’s Red 2006 ($18-20)
- Seppelt Drumborg Riesling 2006 ($25-30)
- Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cab. Shiraz Merlot 2004 ($11-14)
