Wine Week 12: A couple of aged bargains and a brilliant Barossa blend
It’s not often that you can pick up bargain wines that also have a bit of age on them, but that’s exactly what we have this week – a red and a white that are truly great value. We also look at one of Torbeck’s more affordable red wines that is big on flavour and full of class.
In this episode we recommend:
- Bleasdale Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 ($12-16)
- Torbreck The Steading 2004 ($36-44)
- McWilliams Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon 2002 ($13-19)
