Wine Week 11: Bin there, tasted that.

March 9th, 2007

It’s that time of year when Penfolds release their new Bin range, so this week we have a look at a big shiraz from the new releases that is attracting big discounts around the wine retailers. We also have a look at a riesling from a producer who has a long history with the grape, and a red blend that manages to be powerful and retain some finesse.

In this episode we recommend:

  • Leo Buring Clare Valley Riesling 2006 ($13-16)
  • Murdock The Merger 2004 ($18-24)
  • Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz 2004 ($18-27)
